Special Events at JB's When Production Tours Are Offered:

Throughout the year, we will host large events at JB's Barnyard where JB's founders, Jared and Briley, will give you a personalized production tour of their state-inspected facility. For these events, you do not need to meet a particular group size, as these events open production tours up to anyone from the public. If you are looking to pre-purchase production tour tickets during a special event at JB's (for example: Valentine's Day at JB's) please order your production tour tickets by visiting our order online page. If you do not see an upcoming event where JB's Barnyard will be offering public production tours, your production tour must be scheduled during a group visit of 10+ people. Group Sizes:

The JB's Barnyard headquarters is a very small, intimate space.

Group visits should start at 10 people but should not exceed 30 people. If your group is larger than 30 people, JB's Barnyard will schedule multiple time slots for your group to visit JB's Barnyard so that no more than 30 people are present during each visit.

 

Pricing:

 JB's Barnyard only offers production tours for groups with 10+ people. The tour must be scheduled with JB's Barnyard in advance using the request form below. Production tours of the JB's Barnyard ice cream manufacturing facility are $5.00 per person. After the production tour, your group will be led to the JB's Store where they will meet our cows, Lucy and Tootie, and get ice cream. We ask that, at minimum, each person within the group purchases one prepackaged scoop at a value of $4.00. 

This brings the cost per guest with the production tour + ice cream to a total of $9.00 per person.

In the request form shown below, your group can choose to pay for everyone's production tour and ice cream, or your group can inform JB's Barnyard that each guests will be responsible for paying for their own tour and ice cream. 

Additional prepackaged ice cream will be available for purchase at the JB's Store at the end of your tour. Guests can choose to purchase additional prepackaged scoops and prepackaged pints of ice cream to take home with them.

What to expect during your group visit:

During the production tour, JB's Barnyard staff will show your guests how to gown into our production facility, show guests how we make our ice cream, and even tour our walk-in freezers! After the production tour, guests will then enter our store to greet our miniature Jersey cows, Lucy and Tootie. Guests will be able to pet and take pictures with our cows. Guests will be able to choose from over 20 flavors of prepackaged ice cream to purchase.

Timing expectations:

Production tours take approximately 30 minutes

Visiting with the cows / getting ice cream takes approximately 30 minutes​
